LOOK YOU SEE…THE CLIFFS OF INSANITY!!!!! MOVE THAT THIS AND THAT OTHER THING!!! MOVE IT!!!!!!
Ah! The Princess Bride…a movie where there was what was called The Cliffs Of Insanity.
I had often thought that the Cliffs Of Insanity were but a mere fairy tale I came to discover otherwise, these Cliffs in fact do exist. Although, they are known by a different name. It turns out that these very cliffs exist in Ireland. They are known as one of the Seven Wonders Of The World. And so I am sure you can understand my excitement when my sister and I decided to take a trip to see the Cliffs Of Insanity. We took a tour of Ireland by bus. Ireland is such a beautiful country. I was completely captivated by the scenery. I can’t do it justice in describing it in words so I will just show you a glimpse of what it is like in these few pictures.
Yes, I think you can see why my face was either stuck to the window of the bus. Or the reason why I wanted to go outside the bus so I could see everything. We saw many stunning views of the wonder of Ireland. on the day that we went to the Cliffs Of Moher (A.K.A. Cliffs Of Insanity) I must say that is was extremely windy that day. Please believe me when I say that I am not in anyway exaggerating at all about this. it was so windy that even if you tried to fall over you couldn’t because the wind was holding you up. In fact, I even thought that it might blow me away it was so strong. It turns out that the name Cliffs Of Insanity was certainly one that the cliffs lived up to. When we got there I noticed a couple of signs there. Check them out below

Well, the signs pretty much speak for themselves. I think when you notice the wall around the edge of the cliff you get the idea that it isn’t exactly the safest place to be standing near the edge. So, we heeded that sign. Yeah, I really didn’t have the desire to die that day. The view was incredible though. There was even a tower that we got to go up inside to get an even better view. Here is a photo of the tower from afar it shows somewhat just how high the cliffs were.
Would you like to experience just how windy it was that day? Well, check out his video below and you’ll get a glimpse of what it was like
I have never been in hurricane like wind but I imagine that it would be pretty close to something like that.
Well, here I must show you the best part of all the cliffs themselves. They are quite spectacular.
And here is another view of them from the tower.

Well, as we are near the end of this journey, I will leave you with one last video of my sister and I. We are on top of the tower experiencing this windy yet amazing view. Below is a video of my sister Abi expressing her thoughts about the moment and how she felt. You will also see how short I am being as I am the one holding the camera and could not quite see over the top of the tower.
So there you have it in Abi’s famous words. “I am so happy. It’s so beautiful!” Yeah that pretty much sums it up.
I hope you have enjoyed this mini adventure within the Insanity of it all and in the adventure of seeing a glimpse of Ireland!! I hope we shall meet again on our next adventure!!! Until next time….
