Adventurer….someone who likes dangerous and exciting experiences. I never thought that I would write a blog about adventure. In fact, I’ve never even really thought of myself as an adventurer. Yet, it seems recently that I have realized that I am one. I’ve always loved seeing new places. I find it so exciting and refreshing. I have some great memories traveling to different places with my family. When I was ten years old, I went with them to Portugal. And then, I went to England with my family for a month when I was teenager. I fell in love with seeing all the different sights. Especially, the castles and yes I was the one who always wanted to know what was really behind the doors that were blocked off that said Do Not Enter!!! I was sure that it was something important. Perhaps, they were hiding the Wardrobe that leads into Narnia in there and they wanted to keep it to themselves. (Just so you know I can have quite an imagination at times). I have had many wondrous adventures since those times in Portugal and England. It seems that going to many different places has inspired my adventuresome heart. In fact, I still endeavor to have little adventures of my own now by going out and exploring different places. I love taking time to enjoy the beauty that I see. It seems that lately I have been venturing out a little more on my own now. One of my favorite things to do on my little excursions is to capture a moment of the beauty of what I see. Sometimes, I will snap a photo or shoot a video. Other times I will just be in the moment. When you clicked on this link, the first thing you saw was a picture of a place I never dreamed that I would ever see in real life. And yet it was an unreal dream that became a reality. It was one experience I will never forget and I will always cherish that moment. Of course, there is a story behind it but I will have to share that at another time. So, you may be wondering what is this blog about. I’d have to say it’s about discovering the beauty of adventure. I hope that you too will be inspired to enjoy a moment of beauty and maybe even have some adventures of your own.
